We were recommended “Yumi” in Phnom Penh by the owner of our hotel. She said it was her favourite restaurant in town. A Japanese delight owned by an English guy. Fantastic food & cheap, tasty cocktails…apparently (we were unfortunately still on detox!!)
Seen here – Miso Salmon, pumpkin gyoza, baked eggplant & green bean, bamboo & lotus flower salad.
Delish!
The salmon was expensive @$12 for Cambodia, but all other dishes were around $3-4 ea & the good ‘ole local Angkor beer, $1.50!
Great staff & ambience to boot. Thoroughly recommend if you’re in need of some variety from the Khmer staples.
